VINCE NIMS--LETTERS

The Roamin' Catholic Banana Guy!
Serving the Catholic Church through message, music and media!

(UNDER CONSTRUCTION--MORE LETTERS SOON)

This page is in thanksgiving to the many people who take time to write to me. I receive emails every week from people who have something to say about my visit to their area, the words I have spoken or the music I have produced. Sometimes I sit at my computer crying like a baby, absolutely floored by the comments that people make. It's surreal to think that what God does through my ministry touches people the way it does--but I'm glad it does. I'm so glad! And it's why I do what I do. I can't post everything, but here are some notes and quotes that I wish to share. (I have only used first names and states to keep the comments anonymous).

Quotes and Excerpts from Your Letters:

Theresa from the state of Washington: "You were fantastic and the kids we brought are so excited about your message. ESPECIALLY the final talk you gave. You said it all! Thanks so much."

Diana from Texas: "I wanted to let you know, that your songs, words, and your presence totaly enlightened me and made me feel so much better for who I really am. It totally changed me."

Briana from Colorado: A thing that I definitely remember that really touched me was when you asked us to put our heads down and anybody who was a really having trouble with family to put them up and you would pray for us! I just wanted to say that was awesome and thanks! Keep up your awesome work! God Bless! Your Fan! Briana

Heather from Wisconsin: I just wanted to tell you that I had a wonderful time and your performance and talks meant a lot to me. They made me realize that I myself might have a vocation of some sort in the youth/music ministry! I love music, I love the Catholic Church, I love participating in things that include the two…I don't know exactly what my true calling is but I'm certain that it has to do something with music, youth and the Church. I owe this to you. You have inspired me. For the longest time, I didn't have a clue what God's plan was for me. But after the Youth Rally and on the way home I got to thinking and it hit me that what you're doing is somewhere along the line of what I want to do. That night, I hadn't felt so content and happy in a long time. So anyways, Thank You!!!!!!!! You may never know what you have done for me, but all I can say is that there was a reason for my having been at that Youth Rally. Thank You!!!!! God Bless you and keep up the good work! Sincerely in Christ, Heather

Rachel from Wisconson: Hi Vince! This is Rachel from the Salina Convention. I just wanted to say thank you for all that you said. Especially about the part when you told us that God has is own plan for us. One day the plan that I had set had not worked out in my favor and I didn't understand why, then I remembered what you said. So thank you for your words, they will stay with me. Rachel

Leslie from Kansas: Vince, I just want you to know how much my children (ages 5, 3 and 2), husband and I have been enjoying your music. God has truly blessed you with an amazing gift! Thanks for sharing it!

Melissa from Wisconson: Because of God's work through you I have changed the college I am going to and changed my major also. I will be taking up Religous Studys

Charla from Wisconson: Vince--hey it's the day after the youth rally that was held at the Ladysmith OLS Catholic Church. I just wanted to let you know that the story you told about how you wanted to be a baseball player and play at the Dodgers Stadium and ended up there but not doing what you thought you'd be doing. I really believe that. I'm giving my life to God letting him make me into what he wants. I believe if you do that you'll end up in the right place. I want to thank you for sharing your story.

Brittany from Wisconson: Vince--I really enjoyed here you talk at our youth rally in Ladysmith, WI! I had a blast! I have gone to the youth rally 3 times and I have to say that you are one of the best speakers I have heard yet! I am really looking forward to seeing you at N.C.Y.C. next November! Until then hope you stay safe on all your trips!

Tina from Kansas: Dear Vince, I just wanted you to know how blessed I felt after hearing you speak at the convention last weekend. Several times during the weekend I turned to my husband a remarked that we needed to give you a blessing. Thank you for sharing.

Marissa from Kansas: I just wanted to say thanks a lot for coming to the Convention! I think a lot of us enjoyed it more because you made it exciting and told real stories that helped us put life in to perspective.

Alexis from Kansas: Please come back soon! I have 2 more years of being able to attend the CYO Convention. It would be awesome to see you come and speak again.

Virginia from Kansas: I believe that your moving speech about the injustices in not only our country but the world really opened my eyes to the problems of society today. I believe that Convention would have not been as much fun without the Roamin' Catholic Banana Guy there. Thanks again, Virginia.
